I studied Interactive Multimedia, Computer Information Technology and Political Science at Purdue University. I have experience in the marketing industry, I've managed teams and conducted extensive research for various projects. I'm a critical thinker and I have great attention to detail.
My web development skill set includes HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, jQuery/jQuery UI, JavaScript, ASP.NET C#, XML and some JSON. I've used ActionScript 3.0 and PHP to create database-driven Flash apps. And finally I have some minimal Visual Basic and C++ experience. My weapons of choice are CodeIgniter, jQuery (of course sprinkled with some AJAX love), WordPress and LESS (which has saved my life numerous times).
Not only am I a strong developer, I also possess strong user experience design skills which I have applied on a multitude of projects with great success. I design simple yet striking and effective solutions with a heavy emphasis on usability.
I have created complex database-driven content management systems, front-end heavy websites, mobile interfaces and WordPress themes.
Other minor experience includes ActionScript 3.0, Adobe AIR, WPF and Silverlight.
I of course know my way around Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Expression Blend, TextMate and e-texteditor. Finally, I've had some exposure to Systems Analysis and Design, and Systems Architecture.
